'Batman' movie reboot for 2017 release date?


A Batman movie reboot may not arrive until 2017 at the earliest, according to a report.

Batman on Film cites an alleged source close to Warner Bros claiming that the studio is planning to leave a
five-year gap between The Dark Knight Rises and the hero's next solo outing.Warner Bros is expected to introduce its next on-screen incarnation of the Caped Crusader in 2015's Justice League, which has been tipped to serve as a launch vehicle for a slate of solo movies.

Several actors have already been linked to the role of Batman in both Justice League and the proposed reboot, including Lone Ranger star Armie Hammer and Dark Knight Rises actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt.Man of Steel star Henry Cavill has been tipped to reprise his role as Superman in Justice League should Zack Snyder's blockbuster prove a success, but no official casting details have been confirmed.Warner Bros is yet to make an announcement about the future direction of its Batman franchise series.
